Photog’s notes: Cooke Pond is the most scenic of all the ponds, because of its huge sand dunes and beautiful views from up high. This particular location is a 20-minute drive from downtown Oscoda and the Lake Huron shore. Primitive campsites are available all along Cooke Pond.
