Gallup Park
Gallup Park is one of the most popular recreation places in Ann Arbor. There are bike paths that run along almost the entire length of the race course. There are also playgrounds for the kids and plenty of grills scattered throughout the park. It is also very busy so the MCRA could receive a lot of exposure. Please try to make yourself available after the races to answer questions people might have about the MCRA and canoe racing in general. For information on and a map of Gallup Park, go to: http://www.a2gov.org/government/communityservices/ParksandRecreation/parks/Features/Pages/Gallup.aspx

Lodging
The nearest campgrounds are located in Ypsilanti and Brighton. There are several hotels and motels in the Ann Arbor area if you wish to stay overnight.
